Got Questions? We’ve Got Answers!

We’re here to make child care easy and stress-free. Explore our FAQs for quick answers to common questions about our services, pricing, and more.

What is VPK and how does it work in your center?

VPK is Florida’s voluntary prekindergarten for age‑eligible 4‑year‑olds; at Sunshine, it’s integrated into a full kindergarten‑readiness day with options for wrap‑around care and a family‑friendly calendar.

Is Pre‑K different from VPK here?

VPK covers the state‑funded core; our Pre‑K extends learning time, enrichment (tennis, dance, chess), and personalized small‑group instruction for added depth.

How do you build reading and math readiness without pressure?

Through playful phonics, dialogic reading, pattern games, and hands‑on math labs—short, lively, and responsive to each child’s pace.

What about class size and teacher qualifications?

Small ratios support individual coaching; lead educators are early‑learning specialists trained in behavior guidance, phonological instruction, and family communication.
